I felt that writing (typing) down the events and ideas of my harried life would be cathartic. Maybe I can look back at blogs a year from now and say "wow, I've really accomplished a lot" or "man, how time flies". Either way...here goes....

When I first toyed with the idea of starting my own business and stay at home with the kiddos, it seemed like a great idea. Now I still want my business, but the kiddos around....not so much. Trying to design and work has become something like a game of hide-n-seek. I try to keep them preoccupied long enough not to notice that I'm working. Then, they come find me and pull me away. I probably could handle that better if it weren't for what happens in between: Barrettes in electrical outlets, scratched cornea (stop poking mommy's eye sweetie), frantic trips to the potty (not my trips), just to name a few. All in all though I love my life and am lucky to have this opportunity. I have family that is supportive and gratefully keeps most of their advice and comments to themselves. Thank you for that.
